FLU CLINIC 6th MAY 2012

To make it easy for you and your family to get your flu injection this year, Dr. Rob will be giving flu vaccinations on SUNDAY 6th May at Sumner Health Centre from 10am to 2pm (during the Sumner Village party on the new green, next door)  You can just drop in without an appointment on this day. 
You can still call us to make an appointment for flu vaccination on any normal working day too.

If you are under 18, over 65 or have significant asthma, heart disease, cancer, renal disease or are otherwise at risk from influenza, you are entitled to a FREE 'flu vaccine.

This year, all children aged 6 months to 18 years are eligible for FREE flu vaccination if they are normally resident in Canterbury.

• Immunisation protects your child from the complications of influenza.
• Children often spread influenza to other family members (including you!)
• Less time off school is good for everyone.

Children aged under 8 have to have two injections a month apart if they have not previously had flu vaccination, otherwise it's just one jab.

We strongly recommend influenza vaccination to all - if you are not eligible for a free vaccine, our regular price is just $25.
